How I Find My Style

Hi!

For my first blog I'd like to talk about what inspires me and where I get ideas for my outfits. Style is a very personal thing so you have to find what works for you. I enjoy everything from classic & vintage to funky & hipster.

I stay up on my style many different ways:

• Reading style books and current magazines.

Some of my favorite style books include:

*The Lucky Shopping Manual & The Lucky Guide to Mastering Any Style
*50 dresses that changed the world & 50 shoes that changed the world
*Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual



Some regular fashion magazines of mine are:

*Vogue
*InStyle
*Lucky

• Having my own fashion icons

I definitely have many celebrities i like to follow but i'll share a few that have been recent in my style:

* first and foremost the beautiful and timeless Audrey Hepburn *Zooey Deschanel is absolutely adorable and was the inspiration for my new bangs and haircolor
*and... Lady Gaga. While her style seems somewhat insane to most, it is also fearless. She does what she wants and that is what I love about her.

• Looking at fashion blogs. The internet is a wonderful thing. With these blogs we are able to see fashion all over the world. There are thousands of them, but these are some of my favorites:

*E! news is also a good source. They always show what the stars are wearing and usually have a short segment with a hair or make up tip to look like a celeb.
